I feel as though, regardless of specialty, the ability to have a conversation with a patient is a skill that is going to be necessary for all of us at some point in our careers. One of the things that I appreciated from this course was the focus on developing that ability. While it is always fun to get into the kitchen and eat something that you cooked yourself, I enjoyed that there was a reason behind all of the recipes we learned and that there was a focus on how to share this information with patients.

I really liked that we tried three different preparations and three different types of salmon. I really appreciate that Christa answered all of our questions and we all got to participate as much (or as little) as we would like. I also learned some valuable knife skills. Really well done. I'm already signed up for my next class, and this time bringing my husband.
